Job Summary
The Systems Security Analyst is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enforcing data and cybersecurity standards to protect the confidentiality and integrity of enterprise information assets across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and monitor secure FTP/SFTP, MFT, and secure email gateways
Analyze file transfers for encryption, integrity, and unauthorized access
Conduct vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and remediation tracking
Manage PGP encryption, key generation, key vaults, and encryption audits
Monitor and manage SSL, SSO, and domain certificates
Perform access control audits and security incident investigations
Support DLP initiatives, penetration testing, and security assessments
Participate in internal/external audits (SOC, SSAE-18, ISO)
Review, update, and create security policies and documentation
Assist with RFP security questionnaires and vendor risk assessments
Required Skills & Knowledge
Strong experience in IT Security operations and security programs
Hands-on with secure email, FTP/SFTP, AS2, PKI, and encryption technologies
Knowledge of HIPAA, Privacy Act, NIST CSF, ISO 27001
Familiarity with SOC I & II, SSAE-18 audits
Experience with security tools (Proofpoint, Tenable, SIEM, BitSight, etc.)
Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, AD, Group Policy
Knowledge of FIPS 140-2 encryption algorithms (AES, RSA, 3DES)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT / Security or 5–8 years equivalent experience
Experience managing vendor security and security questionnaires
Security certifications preferred: CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, HCISPP, CNP
