Senior Data Engineer / BI Developer (Talend + Power BI)
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer / BI Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Talend and Power BI to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level data integration and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in ETL development, data warehousing, SQL optimization, and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Talend following best practices.

Build interactive and scalable Power BI reports and dashboards for business stakeholders.

Develop and enhance SSRS reports including tables, matrices, drill-downs, parameters, linked reports, and row-level security (RLS).

Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize SSIS packages (preferred).

Write and optimize advanced T-SQL queries using joins, CTEs, indexing, and performance tuning techniques.

Work with multiple databases including SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.

Manage SQL Server Agent jobs, scheduling, monitoring, and logging.

Implement data warehousing concepts such as fact/dimension modeling and ETL best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality BI solutions.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across reporting platforms.
